Green Goats and Gardens Festival
This annual event recognizes University City’s growing commitment to sustainable living. The festival takes place in University Research Park at Environmental Way, a workplace laboratory of sustainable systems and design. The GG&G Festival does truly include goats, as you’ll see in these videos from the debut festival in May 2010. I-485 Outer Loop simulations
North Carolina hopes to begin construction soon on University City’s part of the I-485 Outer Loop. The project will take three years. These simulations let you see what that road will someday look like.
Charlotte Outer Loop Visualization – You literally witness the future I-485 Outer Loop emerge from woods and fields in just under 2 minutes, complete with traffic. Charlotte I-85/I-485 Interchange Visualization – Imagine taking a helicopter ride around the future four-level interchange of I-85/I-485.
