Whether gathering around our town center – the lake at University Place – or at one of University City’s destinations like UNC Charlotte, the Speedway or Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre, visitors and residents alike have found a wide range of things to do and places to visit. Some are brand new, like University City Partners’ Green Goats and Gardens Festival, while others, like the famous Mallard Creek Barbeque and UNC Charlotte’s International Festival, have been around 30+ years.
